About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Stage Manager to work with us on touring production BRIGHT PLACES by Rae Mainwaring. Key responsibilities of the role will be supporting the Stage Manager on tour, re-lighting the lighting design at each venue with support and driving the company van.
Key responsibilities:
Assist the Stage Manager with general stage management duties in rehearsal and on tour
Re-lighting on tour with support from venue technicians
Driving the company van accompanied by the Stage Manager
Assist the Stage Manager with all the get-ins and get-outs and liaise with venue staff at each venue
Liaising with the Theatre Manager and Front of House teams where necessary
We would love to work with someone who:
Has held a Full UK Driving Licence (Clean) for at least 5 years.
Is a confident technician, with a focus on lighting
Is friendly, approachable and collaborative
Is able to be proactive in problem solving on tour
